Crafting Envelopes

an art of making creative envelopes for any ocassion.

· shradha kothari, story of my crafts

Sometimes it's fun to get creative. We all need little time to ourselves to simply wind down. There doesn't need to be an occasion or purpose behind what and why you craft-just let your imagination run wild and be in your creative spree..

THE SECRET OF HAPPINESS IS NOT DOING WHAT ONE LIKES BUT IN LIKING WHAT ONE DOES.

I was just playing around with my jewelry basics and then it struck me why not combine these with paper and rediscover my love for paper crafts. Once I got started I was soon addicted to it. I tried various styles and finally like a breeze I ended up making a envelope.

Custom envelopes are super cute. There's something about it that just shouts playful  and cute to me. I hope it inspires you too..

Materials required

  • Plain envelope
  • Scissors
  • Glue gun/super glue
  • Thin golden wire
  • Artistry ink(rosy cheeks)
  • Blending tool
  • Beaded pearl string
  • Charm
  • Flowers

Method:

  • Apply and blend the distress ink in circular pattern to create the desired background. You can repeat this process till you get the desired result.
  • Take a, wire and twist it to form a circle
  • Wrap the flowers along the wire and stick the pearl string along with it and keep aside
  • Now, place the charm and all the elements and see how you want your final project to look like
  • Use glue to adhere all the elements in place

QUICK TIP.

  • You can also add a sentiment to your envelope. Like SMILE OR JOY. It adds a personal touch.

Letters are expectation and expression packaged in an envelope

HAPPY CRAFTING!!!
